A downloadable tool for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux
This is a small script that generates a boulder, pebble, rock or asteroid procedurally. It was made for the Procjam 2014.
Currently it is fairly limited, you'd have to change the code if you want different parameters from the default templates (the abovementioned types of rocks). The templates are a nice example of what is possible but are very static in what they generate: objects from the same template tend to be very similar.
Most work is actually done by Michael Misha Kazhdan's excellent PoissonRecon. The Rocks Bitch script just generates a point cloud and feeds that to PoissonRecon.
All output during development has only been checked using Blender.
